Analytical Chemist / R&D Specialist (HPLC/MS)
We are currently seeking a new colleague for our Analytical Chemistry, Research and Development team with experience in pharmaceutical analysis and chromatographic methods. The position is suitable for an experienced pharmaceutical-industry analyst as well as a PhD graduate specialising in analytical chemistry, separation techniques or pharmaceutical analysis. We are looking for someone eager to learn, contribute their own ideas and become part of our team. Alongside experience, we value reliability, motivation and a proactive approach to work. Responsibilities
- development, optimisation and preparation for validation of analytical methods focused on HPLC/UHPLC and LC-MS
- development of methods for determination of related substances, assay and other analytical parameters
- identification and characterisation of impurities using MS techniques
- addressing chromatographic separations and optimising analytical conditions
- transfer of analytical methods between R&D and QC laboratories
- interpretation of analytical data and resolution of specialised analytical issues
- preparation of analytical documentation, including methods, validation protocols and reports, and specifications
- cooperation on pharmaceutical API development projects
Requirements
- university degree in chemistry (analytical chemistry, pharmaceutical chemistry or a related field)
- experience with HPLC/UHPLC and analytical method development
- experience with LC-MS/MS or HRMS is an advantage
- experience in a pharmaceutical or development laboratory is an advantage
- ability to independently interpret results and solve analytical problems
- a systematic and professional approach to work
- English proficiency for working with technical documentation
